7. กษัตริย์รับสั่งเสียงดัง ให้นำหมอดูและคนเคลเดีย และหมอดูฤกษ์ยามเข้ามาเฝ้า และกษัตริย์ตรัสกับพวกนักปราชญ์กรุงบาบิโลนว่า "ผู้ที่อ่านข้อเขียนนี้และแปลความให้เราได้ เราจะให้ผู้นั้นสวมเสื้อสีม่วง และสวมสร้อยคอทองคำ และเราจะตั้งให้เป็นอุปราชตรีในราชอาณาจักรของเรา"
