16. "ไปเถิด ให้รวบรวมพวกยิวทั้งสิ้นที่หาพบในสุสา และถืออดอาหารเพื่อฉัน อย่ารับประทาน อย่าดื่มสามวันกลางคืนหรือกลางวัน ฉันและสาวใช้ของฉันจะอดอาหารอย่างท่านด้วย แล้วฉันจะเข้าเฝ้ากษัตริย์แม้ว่าเป็นการฝ่าฝืนกฎหมาย ถ้าฉันพินาศ ฉันก็พินาศ"
