18. และเขาก็จะเชื่อฟังคำของเจ้า แล้วพวกเจ้า ทั้งเจ้ากับพวกผู้ใหญ่ของคนอิสราเอล จงพากันไปเฝ้ากษัตริย์ของอียิปต์ และเจ้าจงทูลพระองค์ว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของคนฮีบรู ทรงปรากฏแก่ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย บัดนี้ ขอได้โปรดให้ข้าพระองค์เดินทางไปในถิ่นทุรกันดารสักสามวันเพื่อจะถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของเรา'
