12. โมเสสกราบทูลพระเยโฮวาห์ว่า "ดูเถิด พระองค์ได้ตรัสสั่งข้าพระองค์ว่า `จงนำพลไพร่นี้ขึ้นไป' แต่พระองค์มิได้แจ้งให้ข้าพระองค์ทราบว่า จะใช้ผู้ใดขึ้นไปกับข้าพระองค์ แม้กระนั้นพระองค์ก็ยังตรัสกับข้าพระองค์ว่า `เรารู้จักเจ้าตามชื่อของเจ้า และเจ้าก็ได้รับความกรุณาในสายตาของเราด้วย'
