3. เขาทั้งสองจึงทูลว่า "พระเจ้าของคนฮีบรูได้ทรงปรากฏกับข้าพระองค์ ขอโปรดให้ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายเดินทางไปในถิ่นทุรกันดารสามวัน และถวายเครื่องบูชาแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ เกรงว่าพระองค์จะทรงลงโทษพวกข้าพระองค์ด้วยโรคภัยหรือด้วยดาบ"
