26. โมเสสทูลว่า "การกระทำเช่นนั้นหาควรไม่ เพราะข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะต้องถวายเครื่องบูชาซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่น่าเกลียดสำหรับชาวอียิปต์แด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ ดูเถิด ข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะถวายเครื่องบูชาซึ่งเป็นสิ่งที่น่าเกลียดสำหรับชาวอียิปต์ต่อหน้าต่อตาเขา แล้วเขาจะไม่เอาก้อนหินขว้างข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายหรอกหรือ
