6. องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าจึงตรัสว่า เพราะฉะนั้น เรามีชีวิตอยู่แน่ฉันใด เราจะเตรียมเจ้าเพื่อรับโทษแห่งการให้โลหิตตก และโลหิตจะไล่ตามเจ้า เพราะเจ้ามิได้เกลียดชังเรื่องโลหิต เพราะฉะนั้นโลหิตจึงจะไล่ตามเจ้าไป
