2. แล้วเขากล่าวว่า "ดูเถิด เจ้านายของข้าพเจ้า ข้าพเจ้าขอวิงวอนท่านโปรดกรุณาแวะไปบ้านผู้รับใช้ของท่าน ค้างแรมคืนนี้ ล้างเท้าของท่าน แล้วท่านจะได้ตื่นแต่เช้าเดินทางต่อไป" ทูตเหล่านั้นกล่าวว่า "อย่าเลย แต่พวกเราจะค้างแรมที่ถนนในคืนนี้"
