24. พระเยโฮวาห์ทรงปรากฏแก่ท่านในคืนเดียวกันนั้น ตรัสว่า "เราเป็นพระเจ้าของอับราฮัม บิดาของเจ้า อย่ากลัวเลย ด้วยว่าเราอยู่กับเจ้าและจะอวยพรเจ้า และทวีเชื้อสายของเจ้าให้มากขึ้นเพราะเห็นแก่อับราฮัมผู้รับใช้ของเรา"
