7. คนเมืองนั้นจึงถามท่านเรื่องภรรยาของท่าน ท่านจึงว่า "เธอเป็นน้องสาวของข้าพเจ้า" เพราะท่านกลัวที่จะพูดว่า "เธอเป็นภรรยาของข้าพเจ้า" คิดไปว่า "มิฉะนั้นแล้วคนเมืองนี้จะฆ่าข้าพเจ้าเพื่อแย่งเอาเรเบคาห์" เพราะว่านางมีรูปงาม
