42. ถ้าแม้นพระเจ้าของบิดาข้าพเจ้า พระเจ้าของอับราฮัมและซึ่งอิสอัคยำเกรง ไม่ทรงสถิตอยู่กับข้าพเจ้าแล้ว ครั้งนี้ท่านจะให้ข้าพเจ้าไปตัวเปล่าเป็นแน่ พระเจ้าทรงเห็นความทุกข์ใจของข้าพเจ้าและการงานตรากตรำที่มือข้าพเจ้าทำ จึงทรงห้ามท่านเมื่อคืนวานนี้"
