11. และฮานันยาห์ได้กล่าวต่อหน้าประชาชนทั้งสิ้นว่า "พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสดังนี้ว่า อย่างนั้นแหละ เราจะหักแอกของเนบูคัดเนสซาร์กษัตริย์ของบาบิโลนจากคอของบรรดาประชาชาติทั้งสิ้นภายในสองปี" แต่เยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ก็ออกไปเสีย
