15. เมื่อรับประทานอาหารเสร็จแล้วพระเยซูตรัสกับซีโมนเปโตรว่า "ซีโมนบุตรชายโยนาห์เอ๋ย ท่านรักเรามากกว่าพวกเหล่านี้หรือ" เขาทูลตอบพระองค์ว่า "ถูกแล้ว พระองค์เจ้าข้า พระองค์ทรงทราบว่าข้าพระองค์รักพระองค์" พระองค์ตรัสสั่งเขาว่า "จงเลี้ยงลูกแกะของเราเถิด"
