7. สาวกคนที่พระเยซูทรงรักจึงบอกเปโตรว่า "เป็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า" เมื่อซีโมนเปโตรได้ยินว่าเป็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า เขาก็หยิบเสื้อคลุมชาวประมงของเขามาสวมรัดไว้ (เพราะเขาเปลือยเปล่าอยู่) แล้วก็กระโดดลงทะเล
