14. ฝ่ายกษัตริย์เฮโรดทรงทราบเรื่องของพระองค์ (เพราะว่าพระนามของพระองค์ได้เลื่องลือไป) แล้วท่านตรัสว่า "ยอห์นผู้ให้รับบัพติศมาเป็นขึ้นมาจากความตายแล้ว เหตุฉะนั้นจึงทำการมหัศจรรย์ได้"
