31. พระองค์จึงทรงเริ่มกล่าวสอนสาวกว่า บุตรมนุษย์จะต้องทนทุกข์ทรมานหลายประการ พวกผู้ใหญ่ พวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ และพวกธรรมาจารย์จะปฏิเสธพระองค์ และพระองค์จะต้องถูกประหารชีวิต แต่ในวันที่สามพระองค์จะทรงเป็นขึ้นมาใหม่
