8. และพระองค์ทรงเห็นว่าน้ำใจของท่านสัตย์ซื่อต่อพระพักตร์พระองค์ และพระองค์ได้ทรงกระทำพันธสัญญากับท่าน ที่จะประทานแผ่นดินของคนคานาอัน คนฮิตไทต์ คนอาโมไรต์ คนเปริสซี คนเยบุส และคนเกอร์กาชีให้แก่เชื้อสายของท่าน และพระองค์ทรงกระทำให้คำตรัสของพระองค์สำเร็จ เพราะพระองค์ชอบธรรม
