3. เพราะสิ่งซึ่งพระราชบัญญัติทำไม่ได้เพราะเนื้อหนังทำให้อ่อนกำลังไปนั้น พระเจ้าทรงใช้พระบุตรของพระองค์มาในสภาพเสมือนเนื้อหนังที่บาปและเพื่อไถ่บาป พระองค์จึงได้ทรงปรับโทษบาปที่อยู่ในเนื้อหนัง
