13. รูธจึงกล่าวว่า "เจ้านายของดิฉัน ขอให้ดิฉันได้รับความกรุณาในสายตาของท่าน เพราะท่านได้ปลอบใจดิฉัน และเพราะท่านได้กล่าวคำที่แสดงความเมตตากรุณาต่อหญิงคนใช้ของท่าน ถึงแม้ดิฉันไม่เป็นเหมือนคนหนึ่งในพวกหญิงคนใช้ของท่าน"
