23. Nhưng Ðức Giê-hô-va làm ơn cho chúng, lấy lòng thương xót và đoái xem họ vì cớ lời giao ước của Ngài đã lập với Áp-ra-ham, Y-sác, và Gia-cốp. Ngài không muốn tận diệt chúng, không từ bỏ chúng khỏi trước mặt Ngài cho đến ngày nay.
