3. Vua đứng trên tòa, lập giao ước trước mặt Ðức Giê-hô-va, hứa đi theo Ðức Giê-hô-va, hết lòng hết ý gìn giữ những điều răn, chứng cớ, và luật lệ của Ngài, và làm hoàn thành lời giao ước đã chép trong sách này. Cả dân sự đều ưng lời giao ước ấy.
