28. Trong ngày đó, Giô-suê cũng chiếm lấy Ma-kê-đa, và dùng lưỡi gươm giết cả thành cùng vua nó. Người tận diệt thành, luôn hết thảy kẻ ở trong, không để thoát một ai. Người đãi vua Ma-kê-đa như đã đãi vua Giê-ri-cô.
