17. Ña-vít thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: Haù chaúng phaûi toâi ñaõ truyeàn laáy soá daân sao? Aáy laø toâi ñaõ phaïm toäi vaø laøm ñieàu aùc; coøn caùc con chieân kia, ñaõ laøm chi? Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi oâi! xin tay Chuùa haõy ñaùnh haïi toâi vaø nhaø cha toâi; nhöng chôù giaùng oân dòch treân daân söï cuûa Chuùa maø haønh haïi noù.
