17. Sau-lô noùi cuøng Ña-vít raèng: Naày Meâ-raùp, con gaùi caû ta; ta seõ gaû noù cho ngöôi laøm vôï. Chæ phaûi giuùp ta caùch maïnh baïo vaø ñaùnh giaëc cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va. Vaû, Sau-lô noùi thaàm raèng: Tay ta chôù neân haønh haïi haén, nhöng thaø tay cuûa daân Phi-li-tin coøn hôn.
