3. Khi daân söï ñaõ trôû veà traïi quaân, caùc tröôûng laõo Y-sô-ra-eân noùi raèng: Côù sao ngaøy nay Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñeå cho daân Phi-li-tin ñaùnh baïi chuùng ta? Chuùng ta haõy ñi thænh hoøm giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ôû taïi Si-loâ; phaûi ñem hoøm ñoù veà taïi giöõa chuùng ta, noù aét seõ giaûi cöùu chuùng ta khoûi tay keû cöøu ñòch chuùng ta!
