Vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn cuøng Moâi-se raèng: Haõy noùi cuøng daân Y-sô-ra-eân: Caùc ngöôi laø daân cöùng coå, neáu ta cuøng leân vôùi caùc ngöôi chæ trong moät luùc, thì ta seõ dieät caùc ngöôi! Vaäy, baây giôø, haõy caát ñoà trang söùc trong mình ngöôi ñi, ñaëng ta bieát lieäu ñaõi ngöôi caùch naøo.
