1. Ngalolo suku abesifazane abayisikhombisa bayakubamba indoda inye, bathi: "Siyakudla isinkwa sethu, sembathe izingubo zethu. Masibizwe kuphela ngegama lakho, ususe ihlazo lethu."
  
2. Ngalolo suku ihlumela likaJehova liyakuba lihle, libe nenkazimulo, nezithelo zomhlaba ziyakuba nodumo nobuhle kwabaphunyukileyo bakwa-Israyeli.
  
3. Kuyakuthi yena oshiyiwe eSiyoni naye osele eJerusalema, bathiwe bangcwele, bonke abalotshelwe ukuphila eJerusalema,
  
4. lapho iNkosi igezile insila yamadodakazi aseJerusalema, nalapho isihlanzile igazi laseJerusalema phakathi kwalo ngomoya wokwahlulela nangomoya wokushisa.
  
5. UJehova uyakudala phezu kwayo yonke indawo yentaba yaseSiyoni naphezu kwemihlangano yayo ifu nomusi emini nokukhanya kwelangabi lomlilo ebusuku, ngokuba phezu kwayo yonke inkazimulo kuyakuba khona isivikelo.
  
6. Kuyakuba khona idokodo, libe ngumthunzi ekushiseni kwemini nesiphephelo nesivikelo esivunguvungwini nasemvuleni.
