17. Og konungur fékk meiri ást á Ester en öllum öðrum konum, og hún ávann sér náð hans og þokka, meir en allar hinar meyjarnar. Og hann setti hina konunglegu kórónu á höfuð henni og gjörði hana að drottningu í stað Vastí.
