11. Þá sagði Júda við Tamar tengdadóttur sína: 'Ver þú sem ekkja í húsi föður þíns, þangað til Sela sonur minn verður fulltíða.' Því að hann hugsaði: 'Ella mun hann og deyja, eins og bræður hans.' Fór Tamar þá burt og var í húsi föður síns.
