1. Kumongameli; ngethi, Ungonakalisi. Umhobe ka-Asafu. Ingoma. Siyabulela kuwe, Thixo, siyabulela; Lisondele igama lakho; Babalisa imisebenzi yakho ebalulekileyo.
  
2. Ngokuba uthi, Ndiya kwenza ngexesha elimisiweyo, Mna ndiya kugweba ngokuthe tye.
  
3. Liyetha amandla ihlabathi, nabemi balo; Ke mna, ndizizinzisile iintsika zalo. (Phakamisani.)
  
4. Ndithi kubaqhayisi, Musani ukuqhayisa; Nakwabangendawo, Musani ukuphakamisa uphondo;
  
5. Musani ukuluphakamisela phezulu uphondo lwenu, Ningathethi ngokusa, nolule intamo.
  
6. Ngokuba ugwebo aluveli empumalanga nasentshonalanga, Nasentlango yeentaba.
  
7. Hayi, nguThixo ogwebayo; Uyamthoba lo, amphakamise lowa.
  
8. Ngokuba indebe isesandleni sikaYehova, Iphuphuma igwebu lewayini, izele yephithikeziweyo. Uthulula kuyo; ewe, iintlenga zayo Ziya kuselwa zifincwe ngabangendawo bonke behlabathi.
  
9. Ke mna ndiya kushumayela ngonaphakade, Ndiya kuvuma kuThixo kaYakobi;
  
10. Zonke iimpondo zabangendawo ndiya kuzixakaxa, Iimpondo zelungisa ziya kuphakanyiswa.
