1. Ingoma. Umhobe ka-Asafu. Thixo, musa ukuthi cwaka, Musa ukuthi tu, musa ukuzola, Thixo.
  
2. Ngokuba nanzo iintshaba zakho zixokozela; Abakuthiyayo baphakamisa intloko.
  
3. Bagqugula igqugula elinobuqhophololo ngabantu bakho, Bacebisane ngabagushiweyo nguwe.
  
4. Bathi, Yizani sibethe bee shwaka, bangabi luhlanga, Lingabi sakhunjulwa igama likaSirayeli.
  
5. Ngokuba bacebisana ngantliziyo-nye, Benza umnqophiso ngawe:
  
6. Iintente zakwaEdom nezakwaIshmayeli, AmaMowabhi namaHagari,
  
7. AmaGebhali nama-Amon nama-Amaleki, AmaFilisti kunye nabemi baseTire;
  
8. Nama-Asiriya athelele kubo, Baba yingalo koonyana bakaLote. (Phakamisani.)
  
9. Yenza kubo njengoko wenza ngako kumaMidiyan, NakuSisera, nakuYabhin esihlanjeni seKishon.
  
10. Batshabalala e-Endore, Baba ngumgquba wokugalelwa emhlabeni.
  
11. Benze bona, amanene abo ke, babe njengo-Orebhe nanjengoZebhe; Zonke iinkosi zabo zibe njengoZebha nanjengoTsalimuna;
  
12. Bona bathi, Masiwahluthe abe ngawethu amakhaya kaThixo.
  
13. Thixo wam, benze babe njengesaqhwithi, Njengomququ phambi komoya.
  
14. Njengomlilo odla ihlathi, Njengedangatye lilenya intaba,
  
15. Yenjenjalo ukubasukela ngoqhwithela lwakho, Ubakhwankqise ngomoya wakho ovuthuzayo.
  
16. Buzalise ubuso babo ngehlazo, Balifune igama lakho, Yehova.
  
17. Mabadane bakhwankqiswe ngonaphakade, Babe neentloni, badake;
  
18. Bazi ukuba wena, ugama linguYehova, unguwe wedwa Osenyangweni phezu kwehlabathi lonke.
